The bingo card I didn't know I needed

I didn’t want a bucket list.

I didn’t want a countdown or a set of achievements to chase just to mark the passage of time.

I wanted something that felt alive.
Something that felt like movement, without pressure.

So I made a bingo card.

Forty squares.
Forty invitations.
Forty ways to stretch gently into the life I’m building.

Not because I feel behind.
Not because I need reinvention.

But because I’m standing on this side of growth now... And from here, I want to live more deliberately inside my own autonomy.

Some of these squares are playful.
Some are deeply personal.
Some feel bold.
Some feel grounding.

A few are dreams I’ve carried for years.
Others are small experiences I’ve simply never given myself permission to try.

That’s what this is really about.

Permission.

Permission to try.
Permission to explore.
Permission to invest in my life — creatively, physically, emotionally, practically.

Not everything has to be monumental.
Not everything has to be mastered.

Some things just need to be experienced.

By the time I turn forty, I don’t want to feel like I accomplished more.

I want to feel like I lived more fully inside my choices..

This card holds pieces of the life I’m already building — creativity, movement, autonomy, legacy, joy, curiosity.

It’s not about becoming someone else.

It’s about expanding the space I allow myself to occupy.

And maybe that’s what makes it feel so right.

Not a checklist.
Not a challenge.

A season.

One where I let what I already know about myself guide what I’m willing to step into next.

Maybe the point isn’t to accomplish all forty.

Maybe the point is simply to live with a little more curiosity, a little more courage, and a willingness to say yes to the life unfolding in front of us.

For me, this board is less about reaching forty and more about widening the space I allow myself to live in.

One small square at a time.

If the idea resonates with you, I’ve created a blank 40 by 40 bingo template so you can shape your own list of experiences, curiosities, and quiet yeses for the year ahead. Perhaps for you it's 27 by 27, 30 by 30....Its fully editable to suit you.

✨ And this is a two page template allowing for 8 additional bonus opportunities. Perhaps you'll conquer them all. Maybe not...The point is to invite as many yeses into your life as possible and sink yourself into them fully as you do!

You can download the printable below and make it entirely your own.
